The Fall 2025 scholarship application period is now closed. The deadline for completed applications was Friday, August 1, 2025 by 11:59 PM.

Thank you for your interest in applying for a Friends of Parks and Recreation (FOPAR) Scholarship. Scholarships are available for City of Santa Cruz residents.  Awards are based on a number of factors, including number of applicants, program costs, financial need and other variables.

• You'll be notified by email if you're approved for a scholarship.
• A scholarship credit will be applied to your family member's WebTrac account.
• You're responsible for creating your WebTrac account prior to submitting your application.
• Fall 2025 Registration opens on August 11.
• All registration is first-come, first-served.
• If you receive a scholarship, you can request that the credit be used for an activity for which you have already registered OR  you can register for an offering later in the term.

Fall scholarship credit must be used by December 21, 2025. The remaining scholarship balance will be removed from your account and the funds returned to Friends of Parks & Recreation for future scholarships.
