Santa Cruz Symphony's Fidel-Fantazye

  • Introduction: The Santa Cruz Symphony's 61st Season begins with a program centered around Mahler's enchanting Symphony No. 4, once again featuring a soloist from the Metropolitan Opera, soprano Meigui Zhang.

Noah Bendix-Balgley, first Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic, will be featured in the West Coast premiere performances of his own Klezmer-infused violin concerto, Fidl-Fantazye.

Glinka's exhilarating overture to Ruslan and Ludmila leads the program.

Mello Concerts: Online/Advance ticket sales for Sunday matinee concerts at the Mello end at 7:30pm the evening before the concert. Any remaining tickets available at the door.

Children under 6 not allowed at Symphony concerts with the exception of the 3/10/19 Family Concert.
