Overview

Re-Envision Santa Cruz is the City of Santa Cruz City Council's interim recovery plan that will guide the City's emergence from economic and social impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The City is facing a long-term fiscal gap, so next 12-to-18 months are critical for its financial recovery.

Fiscal Sustainability

Rebuild the City’s strong financial foundation to maintain excellent service delivery, improve quality of life, and build the resiliency to face future challenges.

Downtown and Business Revitalization

Invest in Santa Cruz's robust and diverse locally-owned businesses, with a focus on the Downtown as a center for housing, commerce and transportation, to ensure an equitable recovery for all. 

Infrastructure

Reimagine improvements to facilities, systems, and open spaces with a focus on resilience, climate adaptation, and supporting a high quality of life.
