Proposed Fee on New Development: Public Safety Impact Fee Citywide
The City Council will consider a resolution updating Public Safety Impact Fees at the April 22, 2025 Meeting. The proposed development impact fee updates are related to changes on new residential and non-residential development to support the expanded capital needs of the City’s fire and police departments that new development creates. The data informing the proposed fee adjustments will be accessible to the public at www.cityofsantacruz.com ten (10) days in advance of the meeting.
